A Letter to my Future Husband

Dear God's Gift,

Wherever you are right now, I pray that you already have a personal relationship with God. My heart is so hidden in God that you have to seek Him first just to find me.

I'm still in my journey of falling inlove with God. He is still working His miracles in my heart. I know I have to fall inlove with Him first before He will lead you to me. 

I don't know how long will it take, but I'll patiently wait for you. I believe God is just holding your hand and He will let you hold mine in His perfect time.

For now, I just have to focus on His love. While I'm waiting, I will serve Him and glorify Him through my life. I pray you do the same.

I'm saving my purity for you - emotionally and physically. By God's grace, you will be the first and the last man in my life. While we're still apart and facing our own battles in life, I pray you will just believe in God, never panic, and just pray.

Know that I loved you even before I met you.

The adorable notebook where I wrote my love letter which I gave to my husband as a present on our wedding day.

I shared this letter to a group of singles when I gave a talk entitled, "Confusion Between Love and Lust." It fills my heart with joy that I was able to inspire them to wait on God's timing, bringing the message that God is the best love story author because He is Love.

To the singles reading this, I encourage you to write one for your future spouse. This letter kept me going when I was tempted to believe that a true man of God no longer exists. Every time I felt broken, I would go back to this letter, with an alive hope in my heart that one day, He would bring the right man He has prepared for me in His perfect time. I held on to the truth that God loves me and cares for every single detail of my life.

True enough, God has proven me that He is faithful beyond my desperation. He wrote a love story that is far beyond what I could think of or imagine. And it didn't end there. Our beautiful love story gave birth to our first spiritual baby, "Worth the Chase Finding Love God's Way" a book centered on Godly dating and following Christ through total surrender of everything, trusting the mighty hands of God.
